I was surprised at the thickness of the metal. It isn't flimsy like some of the metal arts I have found. There isn't a "hanger" on the back. They have a notch on the inside of the first s to hook onto a nail. I use a small darker nail and unless you get within a foot of it and know where to look you don't see the nail head.
